Exceptional Barbara í Gongini leather jacket in heavily distressed black 100% sheep leather, with a highly treated, almost decomposed surface throughout. The leather has been deliberately worked into a deeply textured, cracked and frayed finish, giving the piece an unusually brutalist, weathered character. Barbara í Gongini is particularly known for heavily treated leather and sculptural, unconventional construction.
Strong asymmetric construction, with an offset diagonal front zip running from the upper chest down to the opposite hem. Multiple exposed panel seams create an articulated body, while the back features layered horizontal yoke construction and irregular raw edges.
The sleeves are especially detailed, with spiraled zip openings running across the forearms, allowing the sleeve shape to be adjusted and opened. Additional zip detailing appears at the upper front, with elongated leather zip pulls and a snap-fastened collar.
