Vintage I.S. Issey Miyake Sport hoodie from the 1980s, dating to the Chisato Tsumori-designed period of the line. The I.S. Sport label and construction are consistent with the early 1980s I.S. collections; the line was renamed I.S. Chisato Tsumori Design in 1983, with Tsumori as chief designer.
Constructed in a heavyweight textured cotton with an unusually engineered, three-dimensional pattern. Features an oversized hood, zip front, articulated raglan-style sleeves and large integrated front pockets with folded, protruding pocket flaps. Wide ribbed hem and cuffs, with contrasting ribbed sections running through the sleeve and pocket construction. The curved seam work creates a rounded, dimensional silhouette characteristic of early I.S. Sport pieces.

Condition: vintage condition with some wear throughout. There are holes at the bottom of the garment caused by the front pockets pulling on the fabric; please see photos.
