Charcoal-grey L.M. Altieri jacket from the Work of 2003 collection, crafted in exceptionally soft 100% lambswool. Constructed with a dense, tactile knit that alternates between ribbed and textured stitch patterns, creating subtle contrasts across the body, sleeves and shoulder panels. The jacket features an elongated, close-fitting silhouette, a raised split collar and an exposed metal clasp fastening at the neckline, leaving the front to fall open in a restrained, asymmetric shape. Seam lines follow the contours of the shoulders and sleeves, emphasising the garment’s anatomical construction while allowing the wool to retain a relaxed, almost fluid drape.
An understated example of Altieri’s early work, where material, texture and construction take precedence over conventional detailing. Made in Italy.
