Rare Obscur SS12 piece by Richard Söderberg, representative of the Swedish label’s dark, raw and highly constructed aesthetic. Made from 100% cotton with a “Cold Dyed Grey” treatment, giving the fabric its mottled, distressed appearance.
An elongated, sculptural sleeveless form with oversized funnel collar, deep arm openings and extensive curved panel construction. Long asymmetric fabric extensions and exposed stitching create a protective, almost shell-like silhouette. Obscur was particularly known for its washed, treated fabrics and emphasis on the garment-making process itself.
