Rare Rick Owens FW09 “Crust” coat in blue/black cotton, distinguished by an architectural cross-front construction with an adaptable, high standing collar that can be worn open or wrapped across the neck.
The body can be cinched with a wide ribbed removeable belt, which finishes with an oversized fabric-covered buckle. Long articulated sleeves feature concealed vertical zip pockets.
A particularly strong example of Owens’ late-2000s approach to military/utilitarian outerwear — taking familiar coat construction and distorting it through wrapping, cinching and elongated proportions. Also features an interior belt to be used a sling when the coat is not worn.
