TT Shohei Takamiya Leather + Cotton skeleton layered trousers
Shohei Takamiya skeleton layered trousers, drawing heavily from Japanese visual kei / underground rock aesthetics. Extremely wide, slightly cropped silhouette constructed from double layers of tonal jacquard fabric, with extensive raw/frayed edges and tonal patchwork/reworking throughout. Prominent skeleton and anatomical bone imagery is integrated into the textile, while the front features a contrasting black leather lace-up panel with metal eyelets and leather cord detailing. The layered construction gives the piece considerable volume and movement.
Waist: 38cm unstretched — fits approximately 28–36”
Extremely wide cut, slightly cropped.
Takamiya’s work is explicitly described as one-of-one, designer-handmade pieces, with his practice centred around hand construction, material selection and reworking rather than conventional outsourced production. His work is also closely associated with the Japanese rock/visual-kei-adjacent ecosystem, with pieces appearing alongside brands such as KMRII, 14th Addiction and Yasuyuki Ishii.
