Exceptional KTZ coat from the FW15 era, built around an intensely sculptural military silhouette. The coat combines a black body with extensive cream shearling edging and an enormous folding shearling collar, while the chest is covered in elaborate ivory rope frogging and engraved silver-toned military buttons.
The construction is the real standout: dramatically articulated sleeves, curved anatomical side panels and a segmented back are all traced in shearling, creating an almost armour-like silhouette. The lower body breaks into irregular pointed panels, while the exaggerated cuffs and collar give the piece an almost ceremonial Napoleonic / cavalry uniform quality.
