Red cow leather blazer from the In-Carnation period, explicitly labelled A/W 2009–2010. Cut with a sharp, elongated tailored silhouette in supple, lightly wrinkled leather, featuring a broad notched lapel, black lining and two prominent front fastening points with distinctive metal clasp hardware. Slanted zipped side pockets sit beneath flap pockets, while the sleeves incorporate further metal fastening details at the cuffs. The back is cleanly panelled with curved shoulder construction and a central seam. An excellent example of Serfaty’s early leather-focused work, predating the later Y/Project period; contemporary examples from the same period similarly emphasise his highly developed leather construction and distinctive hook/fastening details.
